Future Face of the NFL

Patrick Mahomes is the real deal:

I feel like I’m watching the future face of the NFL. Granted, it’s only been two weeks of regular season games, but it’s been spectacular to watch. Patrick Mahomes fits in perfectly in Andy Reid’s offense. Coach Reid gives Mahomes enough freedom to really sling the ball around because of the trust he has in his rookie quarterback. 23-28 for 326 yards and 6 touchdown passes. That’s a eye popping stat line for a rookie in his 2nd game. Even in his NFL debut Mahomes went 15-27, 256 yards and 4 touchdowns. In only two games, this phenom had combined for 582 yards and 10 passing touchdowns.

Mahomes had more passing touchdowns in week two than 8 other teams…combined. This is the bright future of the NFL. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers cant carry the NFL forever and when that day may come that they retire, Mahomes looks ready to fill those shoes and be your next great QB. Hes fun and electrifying to watch, with the weapons around him in Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, this might be the most potent offense of the 2018 NFL season. Patrick Mahomes is leading the Chiefs and making them must watch material. Enjoy watching this 23 year old star grow and take over the NFL. We’re watching history here folks. Cheers.
