The fight that has everyone talking. Khabib Nurmagomedov (26-0-0) against Conor McGregor (21-3-0). October 6th all fight fans will have their eyes glued to the TV watching these two polarizing athletes. Vegas currently has Khabib as a -165 favorite. Although McGregor is a much more recognizable name with all of his flash and smack talk, Khabib is a true warrior. This won’t be easy for either fighter. Most likely the toughest fight in their career for both men. Most of us have seen the video of McGregor attacking the bus with Khabib in it, throwing the dolly, shattering the window etc. If you havnt, check out the madness below.
McGregor was ordered to serve five days of community service, three days of anger management and restitution for all the damages caused. Dana White, the president of the UFC said the attack was “the most disgusting thing to happen in the history of the company.” That is all in the past now, the hype of the attack is over and we are focused on the fight between these two on October 6th.
Khabib is a much more conserved and poised fighter. He is a silent assassin though. 10-0 in the UFC and 16 other wins coming mainly from the ProFC and M-1. Nurmagnomedov’s 26-0-0 record should be enough to make anyone at least question their chances against him, but as we all know, Conor fears no man and has been smack talking Khabib since rumors of the fight were first mentioned. Me personally, I’m not going to try and intimidate a guy who wrestled a grizzly cub at 9 years old.
